BC Discoveries Show Stars Program
Ages 5-18
The Show Stars program is designed for students ages 5-18 and culminates in an end of the year performance of an original musical including dancing, singing, and acting! Students in our Show Stars program have the opportunity to participate in classes including Ballet, Tap, Acting and Voice, Dance Theater (Jazz), Pointe/Pre-Pointe, Lyrical, and Hip-Hop! Show Stars students also have the opportunity to audition for our non-competitive performance based company, Turning Out Performing Company!
Nutcracker Short and Suite
Ballet students and Turning Out Performance Company members also have the opportunity to perform in our holiday production of the Nutcracker! The Nutcracker is performed in various locations such as Peddler’s Village, St. Christopher’s Children’s Hospital. local nursing homes, Shady Brook Farms, Philadelphia’s Love Park, and many more!
Holiday Showcase
The Fall semester concludes with both an in class showcase and the opportunity to perform in our holiday themed performance!
Spring Production
BC Discoveries Spring Production brings together all of the elements of an original Broadway style musical production! Students from each class come together to tell the story through music, dance, and theater.
